<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently convert an MPEG2 image compression information to which 2:3 pull down processing is performed into an MPEG4 image compression information. SOLUTION: A format conversion part in an image information converting apparatus does not insert, for example, a repetition field such as P1R field and B2R field, but forms frames such as (P1T, P1B), (B1B, B1T), and the like. Here, since the output timing of frame drops in field precision, resulting in uneven interval the format conversion part sequentially adds the time stamp representing regeneration time to each frame, for example, 0, 3/60, 5/60, 8/60, 10/60, and the like.</p> |
