PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a disposable dung collecting tool for pet, which is made by combining a bag body with a bendable and foldable plate material and is simply handled, with which pet dung can be surely removed without making clothes dirty and which has excellent portability and to provide a method for assembling the dung collecting tool. SOLUTION: This dung collecting tool for pet is constituted of the bag body 1 and the bendable or foldable plate material 2 arranged outside the bag body 1. The dung collecting tool is assembled by procedures of forming an inner space S by the bent or folded plate material 2, folding back outward the vicinity of an opening part of the bag body 1 arranged in the inner space S and covering a part or the whole of the bent or folded plate material 2 with the folded bag body 1.
