PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a growth-promoting agent for greening plants on a slope of dry soil realizing a stable growth of the plant for a long time with little resource on the slope of dry soil and provide a method for promoting the growth. SOLUTION: This growth-promoting agent contains microorganisms belonging to the genus Staphylococcus and/or organisms belonging to the genus Brevibacterium.
