PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new thermoplastic optical resin excellent in transparency, optical characteristics, mechanical properties, thermal properties, melt fluidity and injection moldability. SOLUTION: Polycarbonate copolymer containing a repeating structural unit represented by formulas (1-a) and (2-1) (wherein R1 , R2 , R3 and R4 each represents hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxy or halogen) and the optical parts obtained by molding the polycarbonate copolymer are provided. |
