PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy sheet for a case of a secondary battery, having high strength and superior press formability. SOLUTION: The aluminum alloy sheet for the case of the secondary battery includes 0.6-1.5 wt.% Mn, 0.1-0.8 wt.% Si, 0.1-0.8 wt.% Cu, 0.1-0.8 wt.% Fe, more than 0.2 to 0.7 wt.% Zn, and the balance Al with unavoidable impurities. The aluminum alloy sheet for the case of the secondary battery has preferably an average grain size of less than 25μm. The aluminum alloy sheet can further include Mg of more than 0.2 to 0.7 wt.%, and also one or two of Zr of 0.06-0.2 wt.% and Cr of 0.06-0.2 wt.%.
