PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the dimensional accuracy of interval in an optical axis direction between a separator lens and a sensor more drastically than heretofore in a focus detector arranged in a camera or the like. SOLUTION: In this focus detector equipped with an optical system for guiding light from the separator lens held by an optical system holding member to the sensor held by a sensor holding member, the separator lens has a lens part and a reference part. Then, relative positions of the separator lens and the sensor holding member are adjusted by allowing the reference surface formed on the sensor holding member to abut on the reference part of the separator lens. |
