PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal separator capable of returning a bucket mounted on a swing rotor surely to the original position state when rotation is stopped, maintaining the state, and performing excellently automatic putting in/out of a sample container into/from the bucket.SOLUTION: A centrifugal separator 1 at least has a swing rotor 4 on which a bucket 3 for storing a sample is mounted swingably, a casing 5 for covering the swing rotor 4, a drive motor 6 for rotating the swing rotor 4, a control device 7 for stopping the swing rotor 4 on a prescribed position, a pressing device 8 for pressing the bucket 3 stopped on a prescribed position, and an opening 9 provided on a position corresponding to the stop position of the bucket 3 in the casing 5, for putting in/out the sample.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
