PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability of users with a simple configuration when notifying a specific browser of facts that an electronic document is stored in a document management server and an application for examination/approval has been performed.SOLUTION: When an event that an electronic document subject to a browsing request or an application for examination/approval is stored in a distribution folder through a user's operation on a Web browser of a client terminal, a document management device automatically creates a notification document according to distribution settings of the distribution folder, and distributes the notification document as a notification mail to a destination set in the distribution folder.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
