PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter colorimetric method in which the color of a sample having a facelike spread can be measured with a small error and precisely when the color of the sample is measured. SOLUTION: A screen 13 as the sample is divided into a plurality of places, each place is spectrally color-measured, its chromaticities (x), (y) are found, and the chromaticities for each place are found on the basis of a filter output intensity in each place of the sample by a light-receiving-intensity measuring device 17 having a two-dimensional light receiving element. The difference between both chromaticities in each place found by the method is found, and the weighting factorαof the correction factor of the filter output intensity is decided in such a way that the mean value and the dispersion of the difference between both chromaticities in each place become smallest.
