PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the thermal efficiency of an absorption refrigerator driven by waste heat supplied from another device while utilizing the same as a part of a heat source. SOLUTION: The initial condensation and regeneration of lean solution is effected by a method wherein a refrigerant is absorbed by an absorber 6, and lean solution whose concentration is lowered and which is discharged into a lean solution pipe is supplied by the operation of a lean solution pump 10 to the first space 7A and the second space 7B of a waste heat reclaimer 7 after being branched, then, the branched solutions are heated respectively by the waste gas supplied through a waste heat supplying pipe 12. The lean solution condensed and regenerated in the first space 7A is supplied to a high- temperature reclaimer 1, and is heated further by a gas burner 1A. Thereafter, the solution is conducted to flow into a gas/liquid separator 2 under the mixed condition of gas and liquid to separate them into refrigerant vapor, and the lean solution further condensed and regenerated.
