PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the generation of a stereoscopic image and its display with a further light processing load. SOLUTION: An interleaved character image (first image) and a background image (second image) are preliminarily stored in a storage part 500. A character set part 212 determines a position of character image and a motion pattern of character and determines a character image (image identification number) based on the position and motion pattern. A composition position coordinate is determined on the basis of composition position data 526. An image generation part 230 reads the character image corresponding to the determined image identification number, and composes the background image with the character image according to the composition position coordinate. The resulting composed image (stereoscopic image) is displayed on a display part 30, whereby a game image is displayed as stereoscopic vision image through a lenticular plate.
