<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct an image processing system with little moire generated at a low cost which suppresses moire generation with respect to a halftone dot image and also clearly duplicates a line drawing part of a character, etc., with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: An image processor includes a spatial filtering means (21) for applying to input image data MTF (modulation transfer function) correction process that makes image edges on an image clear and vivid in which the number of bits of output data becomes more than that of the input image data, and a resolution converting means (22) for converting the output image data subjected to the MTF correction into one having a high density ((b) in figure 2, figure 4, figure 6). An image processing method is applied to the image data resolution conversion (22) into image data having a high density and spatial filtering processing (21) and subsequently applies resolution conversion (31) to the image data into one having a low density ((a) of figure 8). An image processing method is applied to the image data spatial filtering processing (21) in which a dynamic range is taken wider in an output than in an input and resolution conversion (22) into one having a high density and subsequently applies resolution conversion into one having a low density ((b) and (c) of figure 8 and figure 9).</p> |
