PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning information transmission device enabling current position data to be transmitted to nearby devices by use of radio signals. SOLUTION: Current position data serving as the positioning information of the current position calculated by a cellular phone signal positioning process part 20 and a GPS part 30 are delivered to a CPU 12 through an interface (I/F) part 11. The positioning information transmission device 10 has a local radio communications part 40 capable of transmitting and receiving the data to and from nearby devices. The current position data are transmitted from the CPU 12 via a communications control part 13, subjected to signal processing by a base band processing part 41 of the local radio communications part 40, and transmitted on carrier waves by an RF processing part 42 to the nearby devices from a local radio communications antenna 43.
