PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor polishing composition which does not cause a pollution problem due to phosphorus and is excellent in black heel mark resistance, wear resistance, and a levelling property. SOLUTION: The floor polishing composition comprises (A) anα,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid polymer, and/or a urethane polymer, and (B) an alkyl citrate such as tributyl citrate, tributyl acetyl citrate.
