PURPOSE: A power transmission belt is provided to improve the durability, pilling resistance, flexibility and abrasion resistance, and to reduce hysteresis without lowering coefficient of friction between elastomer and a standard belt pulley by using ethylene alpha-olefin elastomer. CONSTITUTION: An endless power transmission belt has a tension section(21), a cushion section, and a load-carrying section(23) disposed between the tension section and the cushion section. The belt contains a free radically cured elastomeric composition comprising the reaction product of ethylene alpha olefin elastomer, 10 to 100 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of total rubber(phr) of non-migratory internal lubricant selected from the group consisting of graphite, molybdenum disulfide, polytetrafluoroethylene and mixtures thereof, and 0.1 to 100 phr of curative coagent selected from the group consisting of organic acrylate, organic methacrylate, metal salt of alpha-beta unsaturated organic acid and mixtures thereof.
