PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of an endless belt-shaped photoreceptor by which the occurrence of an abnormal image is eliminated even by repeated use. SOLUTION: By this manufacturing method of an electrophotographic photoreceptor by which both end parts of an endless belt type photoreceptor material on whose outer peripheral surface a photoreceptive layer is provided are cut by holding the photoreceptor material between the blade roller of an internal rotational member consisting of the blade roller and a rubber roller and the blade roller of an external rotational member consisting of the rubber roller and the blade roller provided at a position facing thereto and rotating the internal rotational member nearly once after laying the photoreceptor material by the internal rotational member and a tension roller, and two internal rotational members, two tension rollers and two external rotational members are separately disposed on right and left sides with specified intervals on the same straight line, and a cut difference in level caused by a difference between a cut start point and a cut finish point is set as 0.02-0.5 mm, and the length of whisker occurring at a part at which the cut difference in level is caused is set as 0.02-2 mm.
