PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that in a first example 20 of an assembly device of a conventional cathode and an electron gun, the verification of a reference value with a setting gauge 22 is required every time, this decreases working efficiency, and when the pore size of a first grip 21 is less than 400μm, the manufacture and use of the air probe 23 are made difficult, measurement in a short time is made impossible and measuring accuracy is decreased, and a second example of an assembly device of an exiting cathode and an electron gun is very expensive. SOLUTION: In this assembly device 10 of the cathode and the electron gun, the cathode 11 is advanced on a first grip 12a side, the advance of the cathode 11 is stopped in the position where the cathode 11 is brought into contact with the first grid 12a, and the position is set as a zero point.
