PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a function of deleting an electronic mail apparently determined to be unnecessary when the un-necessariness is determined. SOLUTION: This mail server stores an electronic mail transmitted through a communication network into a storage part, and compares destination information, sender information, and title information between any two electronic mails. When the destination information, sender information, and title information are matched between any two electronic mails, the server compares date information between them and deletes the electronic mail with older date information from the storage part.
