摘要 |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce capital investment on forging and to improve the production efficiency of forging by prolonging the life of forging dies. SOLUTION: The forging die 10 is composed of an Ni-base alloy having a composition equivalent to that of Inconel 718 (R). Precipitates of >=0.5 nm major axis exist at a rate of >=700 pieces/μm<2> in the metallic structure of the Ni-base alloy. As part of these precipitates, large precipitates having 25 nm to 1μm mean diameter which is defined as a value given by dividing the sum of major axis and minor axis by 2 are present at a rate of >=10 pieces/μm<2> .
