PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment-containing colorant composition exhibiting, when used for coloring a resin, transparency and colorability equal to those obtained by a dye, and a method for manufacturing a colored resin using the composition. SOLUTION: A composition comprising a pigment and a resin soluble in a reactive solvent is kneaded by means of a two-roll mill to give a sheet-like matter, which is crushed into color chips. The colorant composition comprises as its ingredient the color chips. A reactive solvent is added to the colorant composition and subsequently the reactive solvent is polymerized to give a colored resin. |
