PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To input only a multiaspect image and viewpoint information in formation of three- dimensional image information for restoring a rough shape and carrying out reproduction and display of color information observed from the viewpoint direction. SOLUTION: A rough shape formation part 11 uses a silhouette method using the multiaspect image to restore the rough shape stably at a high speed. A hexagonal image information formation part 12 finds an intersection between a buckyball arranged in an imaginary space and a photographed image and develops it in the plane and divides it hierarchically for forming a hexagonal image, and then, associates hexagonal pixels constituting the hexagonal image with the photographed image. A color information addition part 13 allocates the hexagonal image in the hexagonal image formation part 12 to all the minute areas representing a restored form surface to color the respective hexagonal pixels with a color of the photographed image by using the correlation result. An achromatic pixel color decision part 14 allocates color information to the hexagonal pixel, to which no allocation is carried out in the color information addition part 13, by interpolation. A two-dimensional arrangement image conversion and synthesis part 15 converts and merges the hexagonal image into image data of ordinary two-dimensional arrangement.
