PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image-processing apparatus for retaining the security of image data. SOLUTION: When 'security storage mode' is specified from an operation section, for example, before the end of business, a CPU 206 transfers all of image data, FAT information, reading information, and print information that are accumulated in a removable HDD (A) as in a removable hard disk in a PC as a computer server from an HDD (B) without any removal mechanism, and data that are accumulated in either HDD, and the like. In this case, 'all erasure' or 'partial erasure' can be selected on an operation section to the HDD (B). Therefore, although a user may need a little time as needed, either of 'partial erasure' that does not become a complete security management but requires short period of time can be selected by setting 'all erasure' for transferring and erasing the data or the transfer erasure of only the FAT. |
