ENDLESS BELT RUNNING DEVICE FOR IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND THE IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize image formation of high quality without meandering of an endless belt with time with respect to an endless belt running device using the endless belt having a high linear speed and using the endless belt at a temperature equal to or higher than 40 deg.C and to provide an image forming device using this endless belt running device. SOLUTION: The endless belt running device for the image forming device runs at least part of the endless belt in the image forming device heated to 40 deg.C or higher at a linear speed equal to or higher than 80 nm/sec by the rotation of a plurality of rolls inserted into the inside of the endless belt. Band- shaped elastic bodies are fixed to inside surfaces of both side edges of the endless belt by adhesive layers so as to project beyond the rolls, and the weight reduction of the elastic bodies is 0.01 to 0.30% when they are heated at 130 deg.C for 30 minutes.
