PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out setting and/or adjustment of the control constant of the controller of a positioning mechanism for driving a carriage loaded on a frame so as to be movable by a driving mechanism by a simple method suitable for the intuition of a user. SOLUTION: An image sensor 14 picks up images of a laser diode LD fixed on a frame 20 and an edge part of an optical fiber OF held on a carriage 22, and those pictures are overlapped on four makers 50a-50d, and displayed on the screen of an image display 18. A driving mechanism 24 for driving the carriage is controlled according to the position relation of the position of the image of the edge part of the optical fiber on the screen and the display positions of the markers. The user operates a marker setting/adjusting mechanism 19 in order to carry out the setting and/or movement of the markers by visually confirming the positions of the markers on the screen, and therefore to carry out the setting and/or adjustment of the control constant. |
