PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a device structure capable of high speed, both-sided printing by means of intermediate transfer bodies and a simple paper carrying path, in color printing performed on continuous paper by a tandem system. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic device comprising vertically arranged printing units, printing stations are arranged parallel to each other, each station having an intermediate transfer belt on one side of the series of printing units. One of the printing stations is constructed so that a toner image is further transferred to an intermediate transfer drum from the intermediate transfer belt. A continuous paper sheet is carried between the parallel printing stations from below. |
