PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramics/metal composite material having continuously changed thermal expansion coefficient, and also to provide a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: An Al alloy is brought into contact with a raw material in which an SiC reinforcement is composed with a matrix consisting of Si or an Si alloy, and the Al alloy is held at 1,400 to 1,800 deg.C to diffuse Al component into the matrix. By this method, the ceramics/metal composite material in which the SiC reinforcement is composited with the Al-Si alloy matrix and the Al-Si alloy matrix has continuously graded Al concentration can be obtained. |
