FIELD: sugar industry. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used at cleaning of diffusion juice of sugar beet, sugar cane and other sugar-containing solutions obtained from plant materials. Proposed method includes predefecation, defecation, saturation of defecated sugar juice by carbonation gas saturated with water vapors in carbonators and letting out waste carbonation gas into atmosphere. Carbonation gas, before letting out, is fed into heat exchangers for cleaning owing to contact with fresh water. Water enriched with dioxide let out of heat exchangers is used to form water vapors for saturation of carbonation gas before delivering it into carbonators. EFFECT: increased coefficient of utilization of carbon dioxide, improved quality of cleaned sugar-containing solution. 1 dwg
