PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system that uses cooperative communication for communicating with one user terminal in cooperation of a plurality of base stations including a first base station and a second base station.SOLUTION: A first base station comprises a transmission unit for transmitting information on cooperative communication from the first base station to a second base station via an X2 interface. The information includes timing information on the timing of cooperative communication and identification information on the first base station.
