PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for measuring exhaust gas particles. SOLUTION: The apparatus for measuring exhaust gas particles is provided with a gas extracting device 36 capable of testing an internal combustion engine 16 in a transient state and certifying it, and includes a partial-flow dilution tunnel 38, mass flow rate sub controllers 80 and 60, and an air flow control device 110 for transient dilution. The air flow control device 110 for transient dilution measures transient changes in intake gases, and changes the flow of air for dilution to the partial-flow dilution tunnel 38. By controlling the air for dilution by such a method, it is possible to reliably extract a particle sample at a constant ratio to the quantity of exhaust flow.
