PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a high-speed durable performance and a motion performance to be compatible to a high degree level. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a pneumatic tire for a two- wheeled vehicle comprises the steps of repeating extending of one of rubber- coated carcass cords in the widthwise direction of a rigid core 1 on the outer surface of the core 1 so as to mold a green tire, and folding and arranging the cords in a substantially U shape near the inner peripheral edge of the core 1 to form a carcass ply 2a, spirally winding belt cords on the core 1 prior to the arrangement of the ply 2a to form a belt layer 3a, and forming the surface forming layer of the sidewall 5 and the tread surface forming layer of the tread 4 by spirally winding rubber strips. |
