PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system having highly improved convenience by making users able to easily input the destination, stopping points, and other information, without forcing the users to do troublesome operation, from the outside of a car which can be easily confirmed on the spot when a user makes a driving plan at the outside of the car. SOLUTION: A scanner unit of a mobile terminal 10 reads code data indicating a destination or a stopping point printed in a printing matter, and then sends the data to a data server 20. The information of the code data read by the mobile terminal 10 is displayed on a display unit of them mobile terminal 10. The data server 20 converts the code data sent from the mobile terminal 10 to position information and then stores. The position information is sent to a car-mounted navigation device 30 if necessary. The car-mounted navigation device 30 sets a driving route of the car according to the position information, and guides the car based on the driving route.
