PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic membrane module in which a flow passage between the adjacent membrane elements can be prevented from being clogged. SOLUTION: This ceramic membrane module 11 is constituted so that an element assembly 13 for filtering the water to be filtered is disposed in a cylindrical casing 12. The assembly 13 is formed by bundling/fixing a plurality of tip-closed slender straight and tubular ceramic-made membrane elements 16. The casing 12 has a raw water introducing port 25 for introducing the water to be treated into the casing 12 along the tangential direction of the casing 12 and a concentrated water discharging port 30 for discharging the water concentrated in the casing 12. The elements 16 are arrayed along a swirl-like route 19 to go to the central part of the casing 12 from the outer peripheral part.
