PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throwaway diaper having superior fitting property of the thigh parts inner sides and superior leakage prevention performance. SOLUTION: This throwaway diaper is provided with a liquid permeable surface sheet 2, a liquid impermeable back surface sheet 3, and a liquid retaining absorbing body 4 interposed between the both sheets and formed into a substantially lengthwise long shape, and both side parts 43 of the absorbing body 4 in a crotch part C are bent downward in wearing and disposed along inner sides of the thigh parts of the wearer. A plurality of compression parts 6 are longitudinally and intermittently formed in the both sides 43 of the absorbing body 4.
