PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrodeless lighting equipment for miniaturizing a light emitting portion by separating therefrom a portion substantially not required for emission and for preventing the deterioration and shorter life of components due to the existence of foreign matter including dust by preventing the flow of air forcibly blown by a cooling device into the components including a resonator. SOLUTION: The electrodeless lighting equipment comprises a main case 105 provided with a wave guide 106 for transmitting microwaves, the resonator 110 joined to the outlet of the wave guide 106 and a bulb 108 arranged in the resonator 110, an auxiliary case 101 provided with a magnetron 103 for generating the microwaves and a high voltage generator 102 for providing high voltage for the magnetron 103, and an electromagnetic wave transmission cable 112 connected between the magnetron 103 and the wave guide 106 for transmitting electromagnetic waves. |
