PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera that can detect and eliminate a shadow caused in the case of photographing an object by using a strobe. SOLUTION: A CPU 1 detects a state of a mode changeover switch and stores an image photographed without using any strobe to a first image storage section 4a as a first image storage in the case of a mode where a certificate photo is photographed. Then an image photographed with a strobe is stored in a second image storage section 4b. A shadow detection section 1a detects the position of the shadow from the stored image and a shadow elimination section 4c eliminates the shadow. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
