PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems of using tea bags: that there is the danger of having a burn in handling a tea bag after making tea, as when pulling the string of the bag or directly picking up a tea bag without a string or lifting it with a spoon to push or squeeze the bag by hand; and that a table or trash can may become sticky with tea if the bag is disposed of without being squeezed. SOLUTION: A scissors-shaped tool has two blades, one in the form of a spoon and the other in the form of a fork. A tea bag is scooped up and squeezed with the tool to enable the tea bag swollen with hot tea to be scooped up and squeezed without the danger of burns. Thus, the user can use the tea bag safely and cleanly and drink tea without waste. The meshing ends of the blades are usable in picking sliced lemon or cubes of sugar, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
