PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-line carrier blocking filter with an assembled band pass function in a simple circuit form by eliminating a gate way for the sake of making the body small and low cost, and solve the problem of high cost and the large body of the unit, even through a conventional power-line carrier blocking filter is made up of low pass filters and both the gate way and the power-line carrier blocking filter are necessary for each home. SOLUTION: Each transformer is provided at the input and output. A capacitor and the winding of the transformer are connected in series, and a band pass filter is provided between each transformer. The blocking filter along with a capacitor C1 functions as an LC low pass filter by using an inductance factor of windings of two transformers T1 and T2. At the same time, a band pass filter (BPF) for bypassing an access system signal is inserted between the transformers T1 and T2 so that the gate way can be eliminated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
