摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for surely forming an optical waveguide. SOLUTION: A mixture solution 2 of a high refractive index photosetting resin A and a low refractive index photosetting resin B is prepared, and the light with which only the resin A is cured is introduced into the mixture solution through an optical fiber 1 to form a cured resin 211 of the A in the size about the diameter of the core of the optical fiber. Then the residual mixture solution 2 is cured to easily form a module or the like using the high refractive index resin 211 preliminarily formed as an optical waveguide. In this case, the relation among the solubility parameterδA of the high refractive index photosetting resin A and the solubility parameterδB and the volume fractionϕB of the low refractive index photosetting resin B is controlled to satisfy following inequality|δA-δB|<-7.5ϕB+6.0...(4) thereby obtaining a satisfactory mixing state of the mixture solution 2 and easily forming the high refractive index resin 211.
