PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate setting of values of parameters by displaying the parameters required for setting a ram operation pattern according to the types of working. SOLUTION: The machine is provided with a ram operation pattern selecting screen storing means 2 which stores a screen for enabling selection of an arbitrary pattern out of a plurality types of ram operation patterns according to the types of working, and parameter input screen storing means 3a-3f which visually displays a parameter required for each of the ram operation patterns and stores a screen for displaying an input section of the parameter. A ram operation pattern processing means 4 displays the ram operation pattern screen and accepts selection of an arbitrary ram operation pattern. The means 4 displays a parameter input screen for the selected ram operation pattern to accept the input of the required parameter, and registers the selected ram operation pattern and a value of the parameter into a parameter setting means 5.
