PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive resin tube having high electrostatic charge capability and a strength to withstand repetitive continuous use, more particularly bending durability, and a conductive roller which can stably form high-quality images. SOLUTION: The conductive resin tube 4 is mounted on an elastic layer 3 carried on the outer periphery of a shaft 2 to form the conductive roller 1. The roller contains, as a base material, a thermoplastic polybutylene phthalate resin or thermoplastic polybutylene terephthalate elastomer, more particularly thermoplastic poly (butylene terephthalate ether) copolymer resin or thermoplastic poly (butylene terephthalate ether) copolymer elastomer and to which a polymeric ion conducting agent is added.
