OPTICAL DISC AND FABRICATING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An optical disc and a method for fabricating the same are provided to form a stepped part to a substrate, corresponding to a lid element for spin coating and carry out the central discharge of resin after inserting the lid element to the stepped part, thereby doping a light transmission layer on the entire area of the substrate uniformly. CONSTITUTION: An optical disc includes a substrate(10) having a central hole(3) and a stepped part(5) formed around an upper end portion of the central hole, and a light transmission layer doped on the substrate with a predetermined thickness. The stepped part has an outer diameter of 15-23mm and a thickness(t) of 0.9mm or less. A lid element is inserted into the central hole stably by the stepped part without using any additional vacuum adsorption element or magnets.
