PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas barrier film with improved gas barrier properties and resistance to hot water. SOLUTION: A polyalcohol resin is dissolved in an aqueous solvent at 60 to 100°C and at the same time, an inorganic lamellar compound is added and dispersed.
