PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate cutting machine to correctly cut a plate along the cutting line longer than the blade length. SOLUTION: This plate cutting machine comprises a cutting table 11 on which the plate 50 is placed, a lower blade 14 which is provided on an edge of the cutting table 11 and has a straight blade tip, an upper blade which presses the plate 50 from an upper part in the thickness direction along the blade tip of the lower blade 14, a first guide 15 which has a guide surface 16 abutted on an end face 52 of the plate 50 placed on the cutting table 11 and is reciprocal parallel to a surface 12 of the cutting table 11 while a guide surface 16 is kept parallel to the blade tip of the lower blade 14, a fixing means 18 to fix the position of the first guide 15, and a second guide 30 abutted on a cutting surface 56 of the plate 50 placed on the cutting table 11 on the imaginary plane S perpendicular to the surface 12 of the cutting table 11 and brought into contact with the blade tip of the lower blade 14.
