PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a rotating mechanism of a moving and rotating type electromotive stapler. SOLUTION: A clincher unit 2 and a driver unit 4 are horizontally and freely rotatably fitted to a clincher carriage 1 and a driver carriage 3 which are freely movable by a synchronously transferring mechanism. Bevel gears (b) and (c) are fitted to both ends of a gear shaft 15 being at a rotation center, and a power transmission device is composed of a bevel gear (a) fitted to a driving shaft 7 and the bevel gears (b), (c) and (d). A brake lever 19 is arranged near the bevel gear (c), and the brake level is driven with a solenoid. When the driving shaft is rotated by relieving a brake lever, power is transmitted with the bevel gear, the driver and the clincher are started and binding treatment is carried out. When the driving shaft 7 is rotated by mating the brake lever 19 with the bevel gear (c), the clincher unit 2 and the driver unit 4 are horizontally rotated integrally with the bevel gears (b) and (c).
