PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain sewing machine with which the bottom portion of a curtain cloth can be automatically and freely triply folded at an equal interval without depending on the elongation of the cloth. SOLUTION: A folding plate 7 is provided on a table 4 in front of the sewing machine. Left and right conveyor belts 11, 12, upper and lower conveyor belts 13, 14 and a folding guide rod 15 are provided. The bottom portion of the curtain cloth W is passed through a gap under the folding plate 7 to be fold up vertically at the opposite side at about three time wider position of the one width of the triple folding at the equal interval on the table 4. Further, the bottom portion is folded back downward vertically at the first folded line to set in double folded state. The double folded portion is inclined to be folded perpendicularly downward with fold with gradually increasing and with the edge linearly overlapping on the extension of the edge in double folded by the upper and lower conveyer belts 17, 18 using the folding plate 7 as guide while the cloth is conveyed. The lower side is folded back while upwardly inclining by the same angle to be automatically triply folded and overlapped. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
