PURPOSE: A spot welder used in an orthodontics device is provided to improve welding workability and to achieve uniform welding quality by constantly maintaining output current and current feeding time. CONSTITUTION: A spot welder includes a pair of power supplying terminals(10,12) and a transformer(18) having a primary coil(14) and a secondary coil(16) connected to the power supplying terminals(10,12). Voltage dropping resistance(20) and a rectifying diode(22) are connected between a terminal(12) of power supplying terminals(10,12) and the primary coil(14) in series. A switch(24) is provided to discharge power from a condenser(26) to the primary coil(14). One terminal of the switch(24) is connected to the rectifying diode(22) and the other terminal of the switch(24) is connected to the primary coil(14). A welding rod(28) is connected to an output terminal of the secondary coil(16).
