PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive sheet for label, having flexibility or the like equivalent to the case with using a polyvinyl chloride resin film as a substrate, scarcely causing the deterioration of its ink receivability and ink adhesiveness even after undergoing long-term storage, and emitting no toxic gases including dioxins when incinerated. SOLUTION: This adhesive sheet is such one that the obverse face of a substrate is provided with a printing ink-receiving layer consisting mainly of an oxazoline group-bearing resin and an oxazoline group-free resin, while the reverse face is laminated with an adhesive layer and a release sheet; wherein the substrate consists of an non-oriented or uniaxially oriented polyolefin resin film 150-1,000 MPa in tensile modulus.
