PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which can improve the safety in movement into a forecastle and workability, keep a sealed condition by a hatch, and protect any ingress of wind, rain and sea water into a cabin by providing the forecastle convenient for deck works by the crew in the small ship such as a pleasure boat in which deck works by an anchor or mooring ropes. SOLUTION: In the small ship having a bridge covering a forward part, right and left sides and a top part of the cabin including a steering seat, the steering seat is disposed at the position close to right or left side of the bridge, the forecastle having a top opening is provided on a part of a forecastle deck forward of the bridge so that the inside of the bridge and the forecastle are accessible to each other by a passage aside the steering seat.
