PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter for films designed to prevent the occurrence of whitening at the cut line of a film even if the film is cut. SOLUTION: The cutter is formed of a flat planar plate section 1a and a flat planar plate section 1b so as to have an L shape in side view and at least one of both side edges at L-shaped corners 11 created by the plate section 1a and the plate section 1b is sharpened to form a cutter section 12 of the film 2. Further, the lateral sides 13 on the side formed with the cutter sections 12 of the plate sections 1a and 1b are formed of inclined lines in such a manner that the plate sections 1a and 1b flare divergently from the point of the cutter sections 12 of the upper sides 14 created by the corners 11 toward the lower sides 15 of the plate 1a and 1b sections.
