PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector with a lock mechanism enabled to set an operation volume and operation resistance of an operation part freely according to the modes of use. SOLUTION: The connector with a lock mechanism 100 is provided with a main body 110 to be inserted into a holding recess part 210 for a counterpart connector 200, a flexible arm 120 equipped with a protrusion 122 insertion- coupled with a locking hole 211 of the holding recess part 210, a slider 130 fitted in free sliding along an insertion and pull-off direction to the main body, and an operating lever 140 fitted to the arm or the main body in free rotation so as its tip to nose out to a rear face of the main body and coupled with a slider so as to slide as the main body rotates. A cam face 123 is fitted aslant toward either the arm or the slider so that the distance from a side wall of the main body changes along the insertion and pull-off direction and made to bend the arm as the slider slides so that the protrusion comes nearer to the side wall of the main body.
